About the Role
You will architect, implement, and maintain sophisticated developer tooling, frameworks, and automation to streamline and enhance software development processes. You will lead and contribute improvements and optimizations of CI CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software deployments. You will proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bottlenecks within development workflows, continuously improving developer productivity and satisfaction. You will develop comprehensive documentation, training materials, and advocate for best practices and standardized development processes across teams. You will monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance of development infrastructure and tooling. You will collect, analyze, and act upon feedback from developers to proactively address pain points and enhance overall development experience. You will closely collaborate with development, operations, security, and product teams to deliver a seamless developer experience. You will stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in software engineering and developer productivity, proactively adopting relevant innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, developer tools, or developer operations roles.
- Expert proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Deep expertise in CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub, Flux CD, and Harness.
- Experience with artifact management and repository tools, notably JFrog Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Copilot for enhancing developer productivity.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about developer experience, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Proven track record in agile software development practices and DevOps methodologies.
