About the Role
You will lead the Product Engineering organization and set its engineering strategy and technical direction. You will oversee key management, signing systems, APIs, SDKs, dashboards, transaction systems, and independently verifiable security infrastructure. You will grow managers and senior engineers, establish effective engineering practices, and ensure product systems remain scalable, secure, and reliable.
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering managers or leading a multi-team engineering organization
- Deep understanding of modern application architectures and security-critical systems
- Knowledge of HSMs, TEEs, and key management
- Experience shipping security-critical or developer-facing products at scale
- Software quality and engineering-process expertise
Responsibilities
- Own the engineering strategy and technical vision for Product Engineering
- Build, manage, and grow the engineering organization
- Partner with Product and Design leadership on the technical roadmap
- Evaluate web3 technologies and guide their product integration
- Define organizational structure, leveling, and career paths
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention of engineering talent
- Set engineering rituals including planning, incident reviews, and on-call
- Coach managers and senior engineers
- Provide technical guidance across security-critical product systems
- Oversee key management, signing systems, APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and transaction systems
- Ensure product infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability
- Drive quality and consistency processes from design through deployment
