About the Role

You will lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives across AML, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, risk modelling, and SAR analytics. You will translate regulatory requirements into analytical workstreams, partner with engineering and product stakeholders, develop auditable production models, mentor colleagues, maintain governance documentation, and support regulatory and audit responses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analytics, or machine learning, including leadership or senior individual contributor experience in compliance or regulatory analytics
• Compliance domain experience in AML typology detection, sanctions analytics, KYC/KYB modelling, customer risk rating, or transaction monitoring
• Python and SQL proficiency
• Experience with supervised, unsupervised, anomaly-detection, and graph-based machine-learning methods
• MLOps and data engineering fluency
• Experience using AI tools and understanding the benefits and risks of LLMs and automation in compliance analytics
• Cross-functional communication with compliance officers, product managers, and engineers
• Experience mentoring data scientists and analysts
• Familiarity with model governance, explainability, and regulated-environment documentation standards
• Experience with regulatory examinations, enforcement responses, or formal model validation in a compliance context
• Current right to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced compliance analytics and AI initiatives across AML, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, risk modelling, and SAR analytics
• Translate regulatory requirements into scoped analytical workstreams and communicate actionable findings to compliance stakeholders
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted workflows, including LLM-assisted coding, automated analytical pipelines, and AI-augmented investigation and triage
• Work with ML engineers on production-grade, auditable detection models and risk-scoring systems
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and methodology reviews
• Partner with product managers on scoping, sequencing, and effort estimation
• Maintain documentation and governance standards for compliance analytics outputs
• Lead data science workstreams for regulatory responses and internal audit events
