About the Role
Build and maintain blockchain networks and protocols, improve infrastructure security, automation, and monitoring, run testnets, administer Linux systems, maintain documentation, and develop threat models and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Ability to program in Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Experience managing highly available server infrastructures.
- Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
- Experience setting up and maintaining software in data centers and cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of sockets, networking, and Linux security.
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment technologies.
- Flexibility, teamwork, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to take ownership.
- Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, security best practices, or open-source contribution is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
- Perform system administration for Linux servers and manage system health, stability, and availability.
- Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
- Implement peer-to-peer networking security best practices.
- Create, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all operated systems.
