About the Role
You will build and maintain code examples, recipes, documentation, tools, integrations, and demos for Tinker. You will work directly with users to debug technical issues and improve fine-tuning pipelines. You will translate user feedback into product and infrastructure priorities, share technical insights through posts and talks, and contribute to product strategy.
Requirements
- Experience fine-tuning large language models with supervised and reinforcement learning
- Knowledge of hyperparameter tuning for fine-tuning algorithms
- Experience developing software libraries, especially open-source libraries
- Knowledge of developer experience, developer ergonomics, and onboarding flows
- Experience engaging with open-source communities
- Experience creating code examples, tutorials, or papers
- Knowledge of model training, fine-tuning, inference, and related tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Write, test, and maintain code examples, recipes, and documentation for the Tinker cookbook
- Work with users to debug technical issues and optimize fine-tuning pipelines
- Identify and prioritize developer-experience improvements with research and infrastructure teams
- Build tools, integrations, and demos that reduce user friction
- Share field insights through posts, guides, and talks
- Help develop the product roadmap and strategy
