About the Role
You will design electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. You will produce electrical drawings and calculations, specify power equipment, support protection studies, resolve construction issues, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline
- 3+ years of electrical design experience in data center, industrial, or utility facilities
- Ability to perform hands-on work in varied weather, tight quarters, or at heights
- Availability for extended hours, weekends, and 24/7 emergency on-call support
- Willingness to work on site in Memphis, Tennessee
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain electrical diagrams, schedules, layouts, grounding plans, and equipment elevations
- Perform electrical load, voltage-drop, ampacity, derating, conduit-fill, and pull-tension calculations
- Size transformers, switchgear, busway, and feeders
- Write equipment specifications and technical bid evaluations
- Provide inputs for protection and power-system studies
- Resolve field RFIs and issue construction design changes
- Maintain design and asset documentation
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NESC, and IEEE standards
