About the Role
You will turn raw product data into reliable metrics, reporting, and insights. You will build and manage dbt pipelines, define data standards, create dashboards and self-service tools, partner on product metrics, and shape product roadmaps from a data systems perspective.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Engineer or similar Data Science and Analytics role
- Experience partnering with Product leads on company-wide metrics
- dbt
- Airflow
- GitHub
- SQL
- Python
- Experience building reporting and dashboards with Hex
- Experience using AI to scale productivity without lowering work quality
Responsibilities
- Translate partner data needs into data models, reporting, and technical requirements
- Build and manage dbt pipelines that turn raw logs into canonical datasets
- Set data integrity standards and SLAs
- Build dashboards that track core metrics and share insights
- Build data products and tools for self-service analytics
- Define and materialize metrics and analysis for consumer products
- Shape Product roadmaps from a data systems perspective
- Become an expert in data models and data architecture
