About the Role
Work with state-of-the-art computing and networking equipment to ensure uptime, troubleshoot mining equipment, perform routine maintenance, and help keep the data center safe and operational.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in IT/computer hardware, systems or electrical engineering, network administration, and/or troubleshooting.
- Proficiency troubleshooting complex technical issues involving power, cooling, and network systems.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure, best practices, standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English.
- Basic understanding of IP addressing, subnets, and small electronics or low-voltage electrical systems.
- Must pass a motor vehicle check and have reliable transportation to the work site.
- Ability to stand for 7+ hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize critical data center systems including PDUs, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, backup generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform basic miner repairs and maintenance, flash miner firmware, and operate related tools and equipment.
- Perform general facility duties and support preventative maintenance through inspections, cleaning, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and miner issues and coordinate with multiple teams to restore service.
- Monitor and contribute to performance reports covering uptime, power usage, and environmental conditions.
