About the Role
You will lead the impact of data science across different areas of the business, including data management, data analytics, and data innovations through Machine Learning and AI. You will be the visionary and execution driver of all data-enabled initiatives, providing transformative direction and general technical leadership for the data ecosystem while coordinating cross-functionally to leverage data for impactful business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years experience in a senior-level data management role
- Experience in designing, managing, and delivering data solutions with a proven track record of managing end-to-end delivery from ideation to R&D to production with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and communicating complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Technical understanding or enthusiasm in BI, AI, Machine Learning, reporting and visualization, infrastructure, architecture, and governance
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- High adaptability in high uncertainty environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Vietnamese
- High level of strategic thinking and critical thinking
- Exceptional team management skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise the data and information system to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data products
- Establish and supervise data governance and policies
- Facilitate and communicate data visions and strategies across functions and business units
- Anticipate upcoming trends and business demands to propose impactful data deliverables
- Supervise the pipeline to deliver data with high quality, timeliness, and usefulness
- Ensure data support excellence in performing data ad-hoc requests
- Define analytics opportunities to support company growth
- Develop analytics capacities through data and data science techniques
- Drive data-empowered innovations through ML/AI to improve efficiency and quality of business and products
- Raise awareness of the potential application of ML/AI
- Provide data and ML/AI learnings and strategic input to business visions and projects
- Design the framework of AI/ML building, testing, and deployment at scale
- Supervise and ensure the quality and efficiency of ML/AI deliverables
