About the Role
This role focuses on building and deploying security automation, hardening security configurations, providing incident response, supporting detection engineering, and collaborating across teams to improve the security of enterprise and SaaS systems.
Requirements
- Experience with Security Orchestration and Automation Tooling and bespoke scripting automation
- Experience with SIEM systems, ideally Google Chronicle and YARA-L
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in development and incident response contexts
- Experience deploying and using Endpoint Detection and Response tools
- Experience leading cross-functional projects
- Experience conducting and coordinating multi-disciplinary incident response
- Golang development and public development projects are advantageous
- Knowledge of reverse engineering is advantageous
- Threat intelligence utilization and integration into security systems is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of incident response playbooks
- Perform incident response and coordination
- Lead assessment of system design and change
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of reliable, maintainable engineered solutions
- Support detection engineering
- Identify security improvement opportunities and translate them into workable solutions
- Influence and align the team's vision and strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally on roadmap items and projects
