About the Role
You will design cyber ranges and CTF-style challenges, build agentic evaluation scaffolding, and interpret cybersecurity evaluation results. You will help make evaluation environments robust and scalable, write research outputs, and contribute to understanding AI cyber risks.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills for automation or security tooling
- Experience in penetration testing, cyber range design, CTFs, automated security testing, vulnerability research, exploit discovery, or patching
- Strong interest in improving AI system safety
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as Proxmox VE
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code
- Ability to communicate cybersecurity research outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with packet capture, penetration testing, and reverse-engineering tools
Responsibilities
- Design cyber ranges and CTF-style cybersecurity challenges
- Build agentic scaffolding for frontier-model evaluations
- Design evaluation metrics and interpret results
- Improve the robustness and scalability of evaluation environments
- Write reports, research papers, and blog posts
- Keep current with relevant research
- Contribute to understanding AI cyber risks
- Integrate cyber ranges into evaluation pipelines
- Improve automated grading and scoring methodologies
