About the Role

This post-sale customer engineering role partners with Account Executives, Product Experts, and EPD teams to deliver technical customer experiences. The role focuses on customer onboarding, data curation strategy, product adoption, training, and sharing customer insights with Product and GTM leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Sales, Customer Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Account Management.
  • Curiosity about customers and their data challenges.
  • Ability to meet stakeholders and find creative solutions.
  • Fluency in SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with BI tools, cloud data warehouses, semantic layers, and related data tooling.
  • Curiosity about AI in data.
  • Willingness to learn, build, design experiments, and share learnings.
  • Effective communication and advisory skills with technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic problem-solving ability.
  • Based in San Francisco and willing to work in the office two days per week, or based in the PST timezone.

Responsibilities

  • Become a Hex product expert and guide customers through setup, asset development, and technical questions.
  • Build customer confidence in Hex as a data platform.
  • Teach Hex best practices and platform knowledge.
  • Advise on data curation strategies for Hex AI.
  • Drive product adoption among core data personas.
  • Experiment with implementation, onboarding, and training programs.
  • Build customer relationships, gather feedback, and test early product features.
  • Identify reusable or automatable patterns across customer engagements.
  • Share customer feedback internally to inform product roadmap and prioritization.
