About the Role

You will design and manage credit risk policies, underwriting strategies, credit limits, risk-based pricing, and portfolio returns for retail lending products. You will monitor credit KPIs, support planning and forecasting, implement operational improvements, and ensure appropriate risk-function approvals.

Requirements

Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field
Understanding of credit policy governance frameworks
Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models for retail credit products
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Ability to balance speed to market, problem-solving, and business needs

Responsibilities

Develop account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks
Make data-driven marginal decisions
Manage credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, and over-limit policies
Adjust risk-return requirements and portfolio returns as new data becomes available
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
Track and communicate initiative performance and monitor credit KPIs
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement small-scale changes
Ensure approval and good ratings of the first-line credit risk function from internal control lines and regulators
