About the Role
You will lead Coins' entry into the UAE market, building and executing a market-entry plan focused on outbound remittances from Dubai into priority corridors. You will drive early partnerships that accelerate adoption and lower friction, using stablecoin rails where appropriate, and translate strategy into measurable transaction and volume growth within the first 12-18 months. You will provide executive oversight of the compliance agenda led by the CCO, ensuring the business stays aligned with VARA expectations and maintaining senior-level engagement with the regulator. You will act as the connective tissue between Dubai market realities and Coins.ph leadership, keeping the build aligned to international expansion priorities, bringing a builder mentality and balancing commercial momentum with regulatory credibility and control integrity.
Requirements
- Must be based in UAE
- Senior fintech, payments or remittances leader already in the UAE with demonstrated ability to build a new market presence and convert partnerships into volume
- Strong understanding of crypto and stablecoins with practical familiarity of stablecoin rails for remittance economics
- Prior experience engaging UAE regulators, VARA ideal, with gravitas to represent the firm credibly
