About the Role
You will lead construction cost management for hyperscale data centre projects from early development through close-out. You will develop budgets and CAPEX models, monitor costs and risks, prepare forecasts and reports, support procurement and change control, review payments, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
Requirements
- Extensive cost-management experience in hyperscale construction
- At least 2 years of data centre experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
- Proven record of delivering profitable projects and optimizing commercial performance
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Lead cost management for hyperscale data centre construction projects
- Develop and maintain project budgets, CAPEX models, cost plans, and forecasts
- Prepare cost reports, cash-flow analyses, and financial updates
- Conduct benchmarking, cost modelling, market testing, and comparative analysis
- Monitor commitments, actual costs, risk allowances, contingency, and budget movements
- Support procurement through estimates, tender reviews, bid comparisons, and value assessments
- Review payment applications, valuations, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Manage cost change control and assess variations and scope changes
- Identify value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities
- Support cost-risk reviews through analysis and financial modelling
- Oversee cost close-out, reconciliation, final reporting, and handover data
- Apply market, inflation, labour, material, supplier-pricing, and regulatory insights to cost plans
