About the Role
You will strengthen controls across sales practices, customer communications, client classification, product governance, and business conduct monitoring. You will analyze operational data, maintain risk registers, coordinate control assessments, investigate issues, support audits and regulatory implementation, and help govern outsourcing and risk reporting.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in business compliance, front-office controls, conduct risk, sales surveillance, regulatory compliance, or related roles in regulated financial services
- Understanding of Singapore financial services regulation and MAS expectations
- Experience designing or executing sales surveillance, conduct monitoring, or front-office controls
- Analytical and problem-solving skills using client, transaction, or activity data
- Stakeholder management and execution skills across front-office, Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk
- Experience in digital assets or crypto is beneficial
- Familiarity with operational risk, RCSA, outsourcing, audit, and governance frameworks is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and strengthen controls across client-facing activities
- Define sales surveillance and business conduct monitoring requirements
- Investigate, escalate, and remediate identified risks
- Translate regulatory requirements into business controls, processes, and product requirements
- Analyze complaints, onboarding issues, KYC issues, incidents, sales activity, and operational data
- Maintain the Singapore risk register and coordinate RCSA activities
- Monitor KRIs and support control testing
- Implement policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks
- Coordinate incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and assurance activities
- Govern intra-group and third-party outsourcing arrangements
- Prepare risk, control, conduct, and issue reporting
