About the Role
You will manage the PR program day to day, briefing and directing the PR agency while building relationships with tier-one journalists across business, crypto, fintech, and payments. You will lead earned media activity for major announcements such as funding rounds, product launches, research reports, and regulatory developments, and monitor competitive PR activity to keep the Director of Communications informed. You will develop a digital PR strategy to improve visibility in AI-generated answers and LLM-cited sources, partnering with content, SEO, and growth teams on citable, stat-rich assets. You will create and manage LinkedIn content programs for key executives, ghostwrite and place bylines and thought leadership articles, and maintain executive message houses across channels. You will manage relationships with analysts and industry influencers, coordinate briefing schedules, and track coverage and citations. You will coordinate with external lobbying and government affairs agencies, support drafting of policy materials, and monitor regulatory developments such as MiCA, FIT21, and FATF guidance. You will also support the Director of Communications on ad hoc projects including crisis communications and executive media preparation.
Requirements
- Hands-on media relations experience across global markets
- Demonstrable track record of securing tier-one coverage in financial, technology, and/or regulatory press
- PR agency background with understanding of how agencies work
- Hands-on experience engaging with analysts including briefing and inquiry responses
- Experience building or significantly contributing to an analyst relations programme
- Proven experience developing and managing LinkedIn content programmes for senior executives
- Strong byline writing capability and comfort working at pace with senior stakeholders
- Experience building or maintaining executive message houses
- Understanding of how digital PR influences SEO and LLM visibility
- Familiarity with GEO/LLM concepts and their application to B2B PR
- Comfortable using AI tools daily to improve speed and quality of output
- Background in fintech, regtech, compliance, financial services, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS
- Proven ability to work across US, EMEA, and APAC media markets
- Comfort in a complex regulatory environment where accuracy and nuance matter
- Exceptional written English with ability to distil complex regulatory content into clear narratives
- Strong editorial judgement
- Confident stakeholder management with C-suite executives
- Data-driven approach to evaluating performance using coverage metrics and engagement data
- Highly organised with strong project management skills
- Self-starter who can operate with autonomy and build new programmes from scratch
Responsibilities
- Manage the PR agency day-to-day including briefing, prioritization, and performance
- Build and maintain relationships with tier-one journalists across business, crypto, fintech, and payments beats
- Lead earned media activity for major announcements including funding rounds, product launches, and research reports
- Monitor competitive PR activity across TRM Labs and Chainalysis and flag implications
- Own PR reporting including coverage quality, share of voice, and digital PR metrics
- Incorporate a digital PR strategy to improve visibility in AI-generated answers and LLM-cited sources
- Partner with content and SEO teams to produce citable research and data assets
- Track Elliptic's presence across LLM platforms and feed insights back into the PR program
- Create and manage LinkedIn content programs for key executives including ghostwriting and cadence management
- Write and place executive bylines, op-eds, and thought leadership articles
- Maintain the executive message house for each priority spokesperson
- Identify and manage a pipeline of speaking, podcast, and roundtable opportunities
- Track and report on executive share of voice and LinkedIn audience growth
- Identify opportunities for executives to participate in awards programs and advisory boards
- Manage ongoing relationships with priority analysts and industry influencers
- Coordinate analyst briefing schedules and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Track coverage and citations across analyst outputs and report on competitive positioning
- Coordinate day-to-day with external lobbying and government affairs agency
- Support drafting of materials for government affairs activity including submissions and briefing notes
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments such as MiCA, FIT21, and FATF guidance
- Support preparation for regulatory consultations and policy events
- Support the Director of Communications on crisis communications and executive media preparation
