About the Role

You will integrate self-driving software on vehicles and test benches, troubleshoot component and system issues, and execute closed-course and on-road test plans. You will evaluate system performance, analyze testing data, track KPIs, document practices, and support requirements, safety, architecture, and verification activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 0–3+ years of relevant experience
  • Valid US driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to travel occasionally and obtain a passport and appropriate documents for international travel
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work occasional overtime
  • Ability to collaborate across locations and time zones

Responsibilities

  • Support integration of self-driving software onto vehicles and test benches
  • Troubleshoot component and system integration issues
  • Develop and execute test plans and evaluate updates on closed courses and public roads
  • Evaluate full system performance and provide feedback to development teams
  • Use automated testing results to improve the integration release process
  • Maintain integration and deployment schedules for the self-driving software stack
  • Analyze extended testing data and report system performance
  • Manage system issues from identification through resolution
  • Create requirements for testing tools and automation
  • Track and report system performance and testing KPIs
  • Triage road failures and document test gaps
  • Document best practices
  • Derive product requirements from external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, liability reviews, and societal expectations
  • Define functional design requirements and architecture for the virtual driver and related systems
  • Maintain requirements traceability and map requirements to verification tests
  • Collaborate on functional safety and system architecture alignment
