About the Role
You will independently maintain, repair, and troubleshoot work-cell equipment during the night shift. You will assemble and modify mechanical and electrical systems, test fixtures, diagnose PLC and control faults, document work, and hand off updates to relevant teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related technician experience
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Working knowledge of three-phase power, motor control circuits, and PLC I/O troubleshooting
- Understanding of precision measuring equipment or electrical assembly and integration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision overnight
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite or similar
- Ability to consistently work the night-shift schedule
- Preventive maintenance program experience
- Fabrication or manual machining experience
- Catia or other CAD experience
- PLC programming and integration
- Electrical automation integration and panel building
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair work-cell equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on conveyors, motors, and VFDs
- Install, align, calibrate, and verify sensors and safety devices
- Troubleshoot PLC and Raspberry Pi control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose faults
- Log repairs, root causes, and parts used
- Assemble and modify precision mechanical components
- Read electrical schematics and assemble electrical components in PLC terminal cabinets
- Install automation-cabinet wiring and components
- Test assembled fixtures and troubleshoot issues
- Document assembly processes and modifications
- Communicate issues and updates to relevant teams
