About the Role
You will apply clinical expertise and prompt engineering to develop AI-powered tools for documentation, risk adjustment, decision support, and prior authorization. You will define quality standards, validate model outputs, build evaluation tools, translate clinical needs into technical specifications, and monitor guideline and payer-policy updates.
Requirements
- MD, PA, DO, or equivalent clinical degree
- Direct clinical-practice experience
- Medical documentation, clinical workflow, and medical terminology knowledge
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated clinical notes and provide structured feedback

Responsibilities
- Develop and refine AI-driven clinical tools
- Define clinically meaningful output, error rates, failure modes, and quality thresholds
- Integrate medical insights into AI models with cross-functional partners
- Write, review, and optimize prompts
- Build evaluation tools for documentation quality, hallucination detection, omission detection, and medication safety
- Translate clinical needs into technical specifications and data models
- Define clinical guardrail metrics and evaluation requirements for model updates
- Contribute to product development and revenue cycle management initiatives
- Monitor clinical guideline updates and payer policies
