About the Role
You will own civil engineering across a multi-site development portfolio, from site screening through permitting and construction completion. You will lead due diligence, establish civil design standards and grading strategies, structure phased delivery, manage permitting, and coordinate external consultants with internal disciplines.
Requirements
- Experience owning civil engineering for large-scale site development
- Experience directing external civil consultants and managing deliverable quality through IFC
- Knowledge of grading, earthwork, stormwater, site utility design, NPDES, and floodplain permitting
- Experience identifying civil fatal flaws and quantifying site-selection cost risk
- Experience coordinating geotechnical investigations and interpreting boring programs
Responsibilities
- Own civil engineering across a multi-site development portfolio from site screening through construction completion
- Lead civil due diligence for greenfield and conversion sites
- Develop and maintain civil design standards, specifications, and drawings
- Establish grading strategies, earthwork balance, and cut and fill sequences
- Structure phased delivery and early work packages
- Lead civil permitting strategy across jurisdictions
- Manage external civil consultants and coordinate civil scope with other disciplines
