About the Role
You will design, build, and operate a high-performance trading infrastructure spanning off-chain matching and on-chain settlement. You will architect the hybrid CLOB and low-latency sequencer, implement real-time risk and margin systems, and build resilient liquidation and insurance fund mechanisms. You will develop derivatives and perpetuals engines, integrate robust oracle and market data feeds, maintain smart contract and blockchain infrastructure, and own platform reliability, CI/CD, and performance benchmarking. You will also coordinate integrations with tokenization and custody teams and drive security and audit readiness. Expect hands-on technical leadership: reviewing code, debugging systems, and making architecture decisions under production stress.
Requirements
- Built matching engines, margin systems, liquidation engines, or real-time risk platforms
- Deep understanding of derivatives market structure including perpetuals, funding rates, and mark price computation
- Hands-on blockchain and DeFi experience or ability to reach Solidity proficiency rapidly
- Established professional network in risk engineering and hiring for risk roles
- 12+ years engineering experience with 5+ years in senior technical leadership
- Systems-level technical depth able to review PRs and debug production systems

- Design and implement liquidation engine and auto-deleveraging systems
- Build perpetuals and derivatives execution and lifecycle management
- Integrate manipulation-resistant oracles and market data feeds
- Develop and maintain smart contracts and blockchain settlement infrastructure
- Lead platform and mobile engineering for a mobile-first trading app
- Oversee DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and performance benchmarking
- Coordinate integration and timelines with tokenization and exchange teams
