About the Role
You will lead the company's financial strategy and capital planning, owning group financial performance and regulatory finance across multiple jurisdictions. You will prepare decision-useful reporting for executives and investors, build and mentor a high-performing finance function, drive automation of systems and processes, and lead fundraising and capital-raising activities while ensuring strong cash management and financial discipline.
Requirements
- Senior finance leadership experience (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent) in a high-growth company
- Led or played a central role in venture fundraising (Series A/B or later)
- Proven experience presenting complex financial data to Boards and investors
- Experience in regulated financial services environments
- Comfortable operating in complex multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group structures
- Ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution and detailed financial modelling
- Experience building and scaling finance teams and systems in fast-growing organisations
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Exposure to fintech, capital markets, tokenisation, or digital assets (preferred)
- Experience with financial products or real-world assets (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Own financial strategy and long-range planning
- Deliver decision-useful reporting and insights to the CEO and Board
- Manage regulatory finance and capital adequacy for regulated entities
- Oversee group accounting, consolidation, audit, tax, VAT, and transfer pricing
- Ensure robust revenue recognition for tokenisation and blockchain-native income
- Design and evaluate financial economics of new products and SPVs with Product and Commercial teams
- Mentor and build a finance function spanning FP&A, accounting, and regulatory finance
- Lead fundraising initiatives and prepare financial models and investor materials
- Drive automation of finance systems and scalable processes
- Manage cash, liquidity, and financial discipline during rapid scaling
