About the Role
You will perform onsite testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies designed to support heavy loads. You will identify cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, and other defects, interpret engineering drawings, and produce inspection reports.
Requirements
- Certified Welding Inspector certification
- At least 3 years of experience
- Experience in inspection and testing of structures and welds
- Non-destructive testing or nondestructive evaluation experience
- Ability to identify cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, and other defects
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to produce reports in required formats
- Experience with magnetic particle, dye penetrant, visual, and ultrasonic inspection is preferred

- Perform onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products
- Identify components with cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects
- Inspect structures and welds
- Produce inspection reports
