About the Role
You will spend 10 weeks designing, coding, testing, and maintaining a distributed trading system and large-scale supercomputer. You will contribute to production code, apply programming and analysis skills to a real-time trading platform, follow Agile release processes, and receive coaching from an experienced software engineer mentor.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in C++ development on Linux or Python development on Linux
- Strong understanding of data structures and threading models
- Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for solving complex problems and building optimal solutions from scratch
- Interest in hardware, networking, and operating system design
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system
