About the Role

You conduct open-ended machine learning research in complex domains, take research projects from concept to production, improve model design, tools, and infrastructure, and apply engineering, statistical, and market knowledge to quantitative research and monetization problems.

Requirements

  • Strong publication record at ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, KDD, or equivalent, and/or contributions to open-source AI research
  • Strong general machine learning background
  • Exposure to modern deep learning techniques and/or language modeling architectures such as transformers and SSMs
  • Development skills in Python and/or C++
  • Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or JAX
  • Ability to reason through quantitative problems and communicate with trading researchers
  • Reliable and predictable availability
  • Experience with HPC and distributed large model training
  • Experience with GPU performance optimization using CUDA or ROCm
  • Experience with end-to-end model development
