About the Role
You will work with engineering stakeholders to define part requirements, identify suppliers, coordinate technical reviews, obtain quotations, and negotiate costs and contracts. You will release purchase orders, track delivery quality and timing, monitor supply risks, support ERP implementation, and improve purchasing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or Business Management
- At least 1 year of experience in volume-production projects
- Understanding of the purchasing process
- Experience independently bringing at least one product from concept to volume production
- English skills
Responsibilities
- Communicate with engineering teams to understand technical part requirements
- Identify suppliers and arrange technical reviews
- Obtain mass-production quotations and negotiate costs
- Lead supplier contract negotiations and release purchase orders
- Track supplier delivery timing and quality
- Maintain supplier relationships and feed industry insights into engineering planning
- Monitor supply-chain risks and propose mitigation plans
- Support ERP implementation
- Improve supply-chain processes, standards, templates, and workflows
