About the Role
You will conduct advanced on-chain investigations, trace illicit funds, identify financial-crime typologies, and support global compliance teams. You will maintain controls, review transaction-monitoring rules and digital-asset listings, liaise with law enforcement, prepare reports, and train colleagues on investigative techniques.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in blockchain analytics, financial-crimes investigations, AML compliance, or transaction monitoring
- Understanding of crypto-specific financial-crime threats, UTXO and account-based networks, scams, and cross-border fraud
- Expertise with on-chain forensics tools such as Chainalysis or TRM Labs
- Familiarity with digital-asset compliance standards, the PATRIOT Act, FinCEN guidelines, and sanctions regimes
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Identify exposure to illicit typologies and evaluate threat-intelligence referrals
- Document illicit networks and trace funds using blockchain analytics tools
- Provide investigative support and insights to global MLROs
- Evaluate wallet addresses and maintain interdiction controls
- Review transaction-monitoring controls and rules
- Review digital-asset listings for risk insights
- Liaise with law enforcement and support regulatory frameworks
- Train Financial Crimes team members on blockchain investigation techniques
