About the Role
You will lead the end-to-end financial operations for client-funded benefit programs. You will oversee invoicing, fund movement, account reconciliation, payment monitoring, and float management. You will investigate discrepancies, improve processes, support month-end close and collections-risk analysis, and partner with Product and Engineering to automate controls and financial workflows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, financial analysis, or payment operations
- Direct experience in benefit funding, claims banking, or healthcare payment operations preferred
- Experience mentoring junior staff, managing cross-functional workstreams, or standing in for a manager
- Experience in account reconciliation
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude and data tools such as Looker
- Experience building financial processes in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments
- Technical aptitude and experience partnering with Product and Engineering
- Proficiency in Asana, Jira, and Looker
Responsibilities
- Oversee benefit fund movement through the payments infrastructure
- Own client invoicing and reconcile claims bank account transactions and balances
- Monitor clinic and provider payments against contracted timeliness standards
- Manage floated benefit funding balances and drive timely client recoupment
- Lead root-cause analyses of financial discrepancies
- Implement process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and collections-risk analysis
- Provide Client Success with reconciliation insights to resolve billing disputes
- Own funding tools and partner with Product and Engineering on enhancements, bugs, and workflow automation
- Establish internal controls and accountability standards for audit readiness and financial compliance
