About the Role
You will build backend systems that securely connect web applications to physical hardware. You will develop access controls, hardware-control logic, resilient telemetry storage and synchronization, multi-tenant infrastructure, low-latency communication, and audit logging for physical actions.
Requirements
- Experience designing granular user permissions and access controls in multi-user software environments.
- Proficiency interfacing software with physical hardware through digital inputs and outputs.
- Fullstack development expertise with Python or C++ and TypeScript.
- Experience with network communication protocols for hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities
- Implement login, identity, and access-control systems for hardware actions.
- Develop control logic between web interfaces and physical hardware components.
- Architect local telemetry storage and cloud synchronization for network outages.
- Build multi-tenant backend infrastructure with data isolation and security.
- Design low-latency communication pathways between browsers and hardware controllers.
- Create audit logs linking hardware actions to authenticated users.
