About the Role
You will join the Customer Identity segment, developing customer identity verification products that are frictionless to users, flexible and secure, ensuring the authenticity of customers while maintaining trust with regulators. You will collaborate closely with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion. You will design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment. You will have opportunities to mentor junior members of the team by guarding code quality through pull requests and helping them when they have questions. You will stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and be encouraged to propose findings during Get Stuff Done Days. You will work within a cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards across the product.
Requirements
- Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin experience a plus)
- Sound understanding of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres
- Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Strong bias for action, and getting things done
- Ongoing appreciation and consideration for security
- Motivation to write code which is well-tested and well-documented
- Give and receive open, direct and timely feedback
