About the Role
You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend systems, including network protocols, distributed systems architecture, and developer tools. You will improve platform efficiency, scalability, stability, and security, contribute to technical design, maintain documentation, apply adversarial security thinking, and manage project deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Golang experience
- At least 5 years of development experience
- Knowledge of functional or structural programming languages
- High-level object-oriented language experience is preferred
- Strong foundation in computer science data structures algorithms and software design
- Understanding of distributed systems scalability and availability
- Proficiency designing and developing APIs for stateful communications
- Comfort programming in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with relational database management systems
- PostgreSQL experience is a plus
- Encryption and security experience is a plus
- Blockchain technology experience is a plus
- Experience with Linux Mac OS X and Windows is a plus
- Startup experience is a plus
