About the Role
You will repair, calibrate, inspect, and maintain automated adapters, lifts, robotic vehicles, and robotic arms. You will troubleshoot equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC knowledge, and test equipment; monitor system flow; document repairs in CMMS; recover robotic vehicles; complete minor utility work; and follow 5S policies.
Requirements
- Associate degree or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing preferred
- At least 3 years of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education and training
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to follow electromechanical diagrams
- Ability to operate automated systems
- PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work independently using procedures and manuals
Responsibilities
- Inspect automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, adapters, and lifts
- Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, and modify system components
- Monitor automated storage and retrieval system flow
- Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages
- Perform periodic system inspections and document repairs in CMMS
- Communicate production-impacting problems and corrective actions
- Recover automated robotic vehicles in restrictive environments
- Perform minor utility work
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, set up, and change tools on robotic arms
- Clean equipment and follow 5S policies
- Perform Cell Operator functions as needed
