About the Role

You will develop PLC programs, integrate HMI and control interfaces, and commission industrial automation and robotics systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot control logic, field communication, and system issues, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
Several years of experience developing and adapting PLC programs in industrial automation
Practical experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing field automation systems
Working knowledge of HMI, fieldbus, and control integration
Experience in production or plant environments
Very good German and good English language skills
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally around 60%

Responsibilities

Develop and extend PLC programs for industrial automation and robotics applications
Implement and maintain HMI and control-related interfaces
Support on-site commissioning and functional handover to customers
Diagnose and resolve faults in control logic, field communication, and system behavior
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, project engineering, and deployment functions
Create and maintain technical documentation for control logic, parameterization, and commissioning status
