About the Role

You will scrutinize customer due diligence for onboarding, ReKYC, and trigger events. You will manage audit issues, screening and sanction alerts, periodic client reviews, and KYC-related advisory support. You will improve account-opening processes, train relevant teams, maintain reference materials, and support system-enhancement testing.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in a similar banking or financial services role
  • Knowledge of RBI KYC and SEBI guidelines
  • Knowledge of customer due diligence and India LKYC guidelines
  • Knowledge of FATCA and CRS guidelines
  • Knowledge of liability products
  • Knowledge of defaulter databases
  • Knowledge of Finacle
  • Experience handling user acceptance testing
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinize customer due diligence for onboarding, ReKYC, and trigger events
  • Coordinate, track, and close audit issues within agreed timelines
  • Manage name-screening and sanction alerts within turnaround times
  • Conduct periodic client reviews and qualitative batch-screening analysis
  • Resolve KYC and CDD queries for business units
  • Reduce account-opening rework and turnaround time
  • Train relationship managers, makers, and the CDD making team
  • Review and modify CDD scrutiny processes for regulatory changes
  • Create a CDD reference repository
  • Support user acceptance testing for enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Review high-risk KYC processes and track quality
