About the Role
The role supports group reporting by preparing consolidation schedules and working papers, validating subsidiary financial data, performing variance analysis, assisting with audits and reconciliations, maintaining reporting templates and data mappings, and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting
- Understanding of accounting principles and consolidation concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to financial consolidation or ERP systems such as NetSuite is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities
- Assist in monthly and annual group reporting
- Prepare consolidation schedules and working papers
- Collect, review, and validate financial data from subsidiaries
- Maintain and update reporting templates, consolidation systems, and data mapping structures
- Perform variance analysis and provide preliminary commentary on financial results
- Prepare deliverables and respond to queries for internal and external audits
- Assist in ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, and analytical reviews
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and efficiency
