About the Role
You will maintain compliance policies and procedures across KYC and AML activities. You will conduct sanctions screening, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and risk assessments, investigate AML alerts, support on-chain transaction monitoring, assist with audits and regulatory requests, identify compliance issues, and provide clear onboarding guidance to clients and investors.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience conducting end-to-end KYC onboarding reviews
- Experience in blockchain investigations and AML alert clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong knowledge of BSA AML CDD EDD and transaction monitoring requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Problem-solving ability in a high-growth business
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Conduct OFAC and sanctions screening and investigate false positives
- Research and escalate potential sanctions issues
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence
- Review customer risk rankings and recommend AML risk mitigation
- Investigate and analyze AML alerts
- Support on-chain transaction monitoring and clear alerts
- Implement BSA AML and OFAC procedures
- Recommend procedure improvements
- Assist with regulatory audits and requests
- Ensure adherence to CDD EDD and transaction monitoring processes
- Identify compliance and risk issues
- Guide clients and investors through onboarding
