About the Role
You will plan, design, and support construction for data centers and AI infrastructure. You will create design and RFQ documents, assess sites, ensure code compliance, manage facilities projects and budgets, oversee external partners, and support real-estate and portfolio planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Active architectural licensure in at least one U.S. state.
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainable-design credential.
- 15 or more years of progressive architectural design and project-management experience.
- Hands-on experience in data center development, site construction, and workplace planning in high-tech environments.
- Experience leading complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Willingness to travel to different locations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and support construction of data centers and AI infrastructure.
- Develop integrated solutions with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, procurement, and construction disciplines.
- Create Basis of Design documents and RFQ packages and respond to RFIs.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to refine designs and mitigate risk.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and environmental standards.
- Scope, estimate, and execute facility and infrastructure projects.
- Manage workplace programs, CAPEX and OPEX budgets, financial reporting, and space optimization.
- Support site selection, due diligence, lease negotiations, and global portfolio management.
- Oversee architects, engineers, builders, and vendors.
