About the Role

You will identify useful machine-learning applications and take them from problem definition through data preparation, modeling, experimentation, launch evaluation, and iteration. You will translate predictions into product actions, partner on production integration, and document reusable methods.

Requirements

• Experience building and evaluating applied machine-learning systems that influenced product or business decisions
• Python and SQL skills
• Experience building and scheduling production scoring pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and Flyte
• Understanding of supervised learning, evaluation, experimentation, and causal effects
• Ability to scope ambiguous problems and explain technical tradeoffs

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize machine-learning opportunities with product and business partners
• Build datasets, features, reproducible training workflows, and models
• Translate predictions into product actions
• Design experiments and use causal reasoning to evaluate outcomes
• Partner with engineers on integration, scoring, monitoring, rollout, and iteration
• Explain results and limitations clearly
• Document decisions and build reusable methods
