About the Role
You will identify compelling research problems for language-model capabilities, collaborate with trading teams on requirements and constraints, and lead open-ended machine-learning projects from concept to production. You will continuously improve model design, tools, and infrastructure for quantitative research applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years creating machine-learning systems with measurable impact
- Machine learning knowledge
- Exposure to language-model architectures, including transformers or SSMs
- Python or C++ development
- PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX familiarity
- Quantitative problem-solving
- Communication with trading researchers
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related subject
- Publication record at ICML, ICLR, AAAI, NeurIPS, UAI, KDD, or equivalent
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Lead machine-learning research projects from concept to production
- Identify problems suited to current and projected language-model capabilities
- Collaborate with trading teams to understand requirements and constraints
- Continuously improve model design, tools, and infrastructure
- Develop research for quantitative research applications
