About the Role
You will own a scoped machine learning project from problem framing through integration. You will build Python data pipelines, train and evaluate models, integrate model or LLM workflows into services, investigate failure modes, use reproducible engineering practices, and present your results.
Requirements
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in a related technical discipline with graduation expected between December 2027 and May 2028
- Ability to work onsite in New York Monday through Friday for Summer 2027
- Strong Python programming experience
- Machine learning coursework or project experience
- Understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistics
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Own a scoped machine learning project from problem framing through evaluation and integration
- Build Python data pipelines for model training and inference
- Train, evaluate, and iterate on models
- Integrate a model or LLM workflow into a service or tool
- Investigate and document failure modes in real-world data
- Use version control, code review, testing, and experiment tracking
