Required and preferred rules are kept separate and reflect the wording in the original posting.

About the Role

You'll dive straight into building rather than observing. Working closely with senior engineers and a global cohort of fellow interns, you'll ship code that reaches real users, whether that's an internal tool your team adopts or a customer-facing integration. You'll use agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor as your default way of working, and you'll present what you build in weekly lightning-talk demos. Expect minimal process: you'll get context, a problem, and a mentor, and the rest is on you to figure out and build.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for building, demonstrated through side projects, hackathon entries, open-source contributions, or self-directed work.
  • Hands-on AI fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar agentic coding tools, including the ability to explain and verify the work.
  • Bias toward action and willingness to start building before receiving a detailed specification.
  • Comfort developing modern full-stack solutions.
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related program.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior engineers to identify where AI tooling and integrations can remove friction and build solutions.
  • Build applications and integrations on Xsolla APIs and SDKs using AI-assisted development.
  • Ship internal tools or customer-facing integrations that reach real users.
  • Use agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor as the default way of working.
  • Share work in weekly lightning-talk demos.
  • Work with minimal process, using context, a problem, and mentor guidance to determine and build the solution.
  • Learn from senior engineers and collaborate with fellow interns across markets.

Hiring Process

No take-home assignment or formal problem set. Applicants should provide a link to a GitHub profile, deployed project, or other self-directed work, plus a 2–3 sentence written answer or a 2-minute video/Loom explaining something difficult they recently built and why.
