About the Role
You will design and build mission-critical data services that analyze blockchain transactions at petabyte scale. You will architect data models for fast querying develop pipelines and streaming workflows deploy cloud infrastructure and translate user needs into scalable solutions. You will document technical decisions communicate tradeoffs mentor others and improve system performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting scalable API development and distributed systems
- Experience guiding projects from ideation through production deployment
- Exceptional programming skills in Python
- Proficiency in SQL or SparkSQL
- Experience with BigQuery and Postgres
- Experience building 0–1 data systems pipelines platforms or ML or BI workflows
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Airflow and DBT
- Experience with Dataflow Spark Kafka and Flink
- Experience with Docker Terraform Kubernetes and Datadog
- Ability to load query and transform extensive datasets
- Experience with LLMs or AI-powered workflows is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Build scalable features that integrate with multiple blockchains
- Design and architect data models for efficient storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with data scientists backend engineers product managers and customer-facing stakeholders
- Translate user needs into scalable data solutions
- Write design documentation and communicate technical tradeoffs
- Build pipelines data platforms and ML or BI workflows from scratch
- Develop data pipelines and workflow orchestration
- Implement data processing and streaming workflows
- Deploy and monitor infrastructure in public cloud platforms
- Load query and transform extensive datasets
- Mentor engineers and analysts
- Optimize systems for performance scale and cost efficiency
