You will conduct original research on artificial intelligence and federal fiscal policy. You will analyze AI's economic and budget effects, produce policy materials, track policy developments, evaluate proposals, build relationships with subject-matter experts, and organize policy-focused events.
Requirements
- Economics, fiscal policy, technology policy, or related experience
- Artificial intelligence policy knowledge
- At least five years of relevant professional or doctoral research experience

Responsibilities
- Conduct original research on artificial intelligence and federal fiscal policy
- Analyze AI's effects on economic growth, labor markets, productivity, revenues, spending, and budget projections
- Write policy briefs, reports, blog posts, issue papers, presentations, and other materials
- Catalog policy ideas, develop proposals, and evaluate fiscal implications
- Track emerging AI research, policy debates, and legislative developments
- Build relationships with researchers, government officials, academic experts, and companies
- Organize convenings, roundtables, and events on AI and fiscal policy
