About the Role
You will own the accounts payable process and support accounting activities across a multi-entity group. You will prepare ledger entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany settlements, tax and VAT documentation, and audit files. You will also help strengthen controls and improve accounting processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Around 5 years of accounting experience
- General ledger accounting, closing, reconciliation, accrual, and full-cycle accounting knowledge
- Experience with multi-entity groups and intercompany accounting
- Accounts payable experience
- Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax compliance
- Experience working with external auditors
- Experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Own the accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, payment preparation, supplier reconciliations, and vendor data management
- Prepare general ledger entries, accruals, and prepayments
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for group entities
- Perform balance-sheet and bank reconciliations and account analysis
- Reconcile intercompany balances and manage recharges and settlements
- Support VAT and tax compliance across jurisdictions
- Prepare audit files and support annual and interim audits
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Manage technical and routine accounting tasks accurately and consistently
