About the Role
You'll join the frontend web team at the technology powerhouse behind MoneyLion, working alongside engineers to plan and build new features for the frontend web system. You'll build resilient UI components and front-end libraries, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to best practices for continuous integration and deployment. You'll keep user documentation current with new features, design patterns, and architectural changes, and you'll continuously improve the maintainability, stability, and performance of the web application, ensuring core web vitals meet the standard. You'll also troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in the web application, collaborating closely with a cross functional team in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of working experience as a software engineer
- Proven experience in building workable web applications or managing web application projects is a plus
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, experience with Typescript is a plus
- Thorough understanding of UI libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, etc, state management libraries and its core principles
- Thorough understanding of building a NodeJs application and experience working with API integration and third party libraries
- Familiarity with modern frontend CI/CD pipelines and development tools
- Familiarity with agile development
- Ability to collaborate with a cross functional team
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the engineering team to plan and create new features related to the frontend web system
- Build resilient UI components and front-end libraries

- Contribute to developing best practices for continuous integration and deployment
- Keep user documentation up to date with new features, design patterns or architectural changes
- Improve maintainability and stability of the web application and benchmark for optimal performance ensuring core web vitals meet the standard
