About the Role
Partner with Product Owners and UX Designers to translate product requirements into technical specifications, make architecture trade-offs, build responsive products with modern JavaScript frameworks, conduct code reviews, manage technical risks, write tests, optimize performance, evaluate technologies, and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of front-end development experience, including at least 1+ year focused on front-end architecture and system design
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and standard software design patterns
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and WeChat Mini-Program frameworks including WXSS and WXML
- High proficiency in React and Vue, including their ecosystems and state-management tools
- Familiarity with HTTP, HTTPS, and RESTful API specifications
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and UX Designers to translate product requirements into technical specifications
- Make design and technical architecture trade-offs when scoping and building new features
- Leverage modern JavaScript frameworks to build responsive user-facing products
- Conduct thorough peer code reviews to surface design flaws and optimize implementation
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies throughout the SDLC
- Write unit tests and automated functional tests to prevent regressions
- Take accountability for end-to-end performance and operational stability of the user experience
- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve the tech stack and system architecture
- Foster an innovative mindset and propose creative solutions to technical challenges
