About the Role
You will create playable content for a live top-down pixel art MMO. You will design and build quests, encounters, and narrative pieces using advanced content-creation tools, pitch content ideas to leadership, receive direct feedback, and iterate quickly so your work appears live in the game. You will learn to write professional proposals and present ideas, and be expected to commit meaningful hours and take feedback constructively.
Requirements
- Portfolio of creative work (games, mods, campaigns, events, writing, art, etc.)
- Genuine passion for gaming, especially RPGs, MMORPGs, indie and top-down pixel art games
- Strong academic record or demonstrable critical thinking ability
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Able to accept and act on direct feedback
- Available to commit meaningful hours
Responsibilities
- Design and build quests, encounters, and narrative content using proprietary systems
- Create content quickly with real-time tooling so work appears live
- Propose content ideas and pitch them to leadership
- Receive feedback from creative leadership and iterate rapidly
- Write proposals and present ideas professionally
