About the Role
playSTUDIOS Vietnam is seeking a UI Game Artist to develop polished game interface assets from concept through production, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and alignment with technical and creative requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in UI or concept design, preferably in gaming.
- Intermediate written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience critiquing work and communicating ideas clearly.
- Strong organization, file management, and presentation skills.
- Solid knowledge of graphic design and UI design.
- Understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, typography, color, negative space, and balance.
- Ability to visualize full user flows and design assets within a broader context.
- Self-direction, drive, and willingness to ask for help.
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to quickly learn new tools, including AI.
Responsibilities
- Prepare UI mockups and design layouts from briefs using existing assets, found assets, sketches, or new concepts.
- Create high-quality titles and logos.
- Produce new UI and element assets, rework existing assets, or license design library content.
- Slice and deliver approved project assets and textures.
- Ensure assets are delivered to the Technical Artist on time and meet Art Director quality standards.
- Communicate with other departments to support smooth workflows and technical requirements.
