About the Role
You will book and schedule shipments, coordinate pickup and delivery windows, and track every shipment in the transportation management system. You will identify at-risk deliveries, investigate missed SLAs, manage the dedicated carrier relationship, and keep shipment and carrier performance data current.
Requirements
- Experience booking and managing shipments from carrier booking through delivery confirmation
- Experience managing shipments across multiple sites or destinations
- Experience managing carrier relationships
- Experience investigating missed SLAs
- Fluency with transportation management systems
- Experience maintaining accurate shipment data
Responsibilities
- Book and schedule shipments across the network
- Coordinate pickup and delivery windows with carriers and receiving sites
- Track shipments and flag at-risk deliveries
- Investigate missed SLAs and drive resolutions
- Manage carrier rates, capacity, service issues, and escalations
- Maintain shipment and carrier performance data in the TMS
